Only located in South Carolina.
One of my favorite Southern Comfort food spots.
I love the fact that mac and cheese classifies as a vegetable option on their menu.
Went with my favorite combo this time, with a few sides:
Fried Chicken, Mac-n-cheese, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Rice-n-gravy, Creamed Corn, Okra and Tomatoes, and Cornbread and Rolls + Sweet Tea.

Woodfire Grill
Top Chef Kevin Gillespie threw down with the 5 Course Chef’s Special Tastings, and ofcourse we had to go with the pairings.
This was a blind tasting, so a bit adventurous but well worth it. The dishes, notably the main course lamb were all delicious! And I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant.

Top Flr
A sleek and cozy restaurant with a couple of nice bar areas.
They specialize in duck dishes. Got their Mac and Cheese as an appetizer and then got the Crispy Duck Breast as the entree, which was perfectly cooked, also tried some of their Lamb chops, and had the Duck Confit pizza for dessert!

Highland Bakery
Perfect spot for a BWB: Buckwild Brunch.
The dishes are huge and delicious. Got the Peanut Butter French Toast, which could probably feed a family of four- not even kidding. And also got the country fried steak with a side of grits and eggs on top.

The Vortex Bar and Grill
An ultimate burger experience, they have many extreme burgers on the menu. I went with the Black and Blue Burger which is loaded with Cajun spices and a scoop of blue cheese spread. And if you are in for a challenge, try out their Coronary or Double Bypass Burgers, my little cousin has tackled both!
If you are a pickle lover, you have to try out the Fried Dill Spears! They come with a side of Jalapeño Ranch dip.

La Fondas
Really tasty Cuban food, located in many spots in ATL.
They are well known for their cuban sandwiches. I tried out the Rueben Cubano- a chicken cuban sandwich was really nice, and their cuban dressing is so tasty!
Also got the Pollo a la Parrila, which is a well seasoned marinated half chicken, comes with rice and beans as well (pictured below).
Oh and they also have really good chips and salsa.

Felini’s Pizza
Great place for a quick and tasty slice of pizza. I tried out their Italian Sausage with garlic. There are many locations throughout Atlanta, and they are open late.

Cami Cakes
Perfect amount of cake to frosting ratio, and their frosting is a great mousse-like consistency. I got the Classic Cami- which was a Vanilla cupcake with Chocolate frosting, and I also tried the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cream.

An SC based deli, with quality sammies!
I recommend their Apollo and Dipper sandwiches, make sure you get a side of their Formula “45” sauce and homemade chips.

A quaint French cafe in the Griffith Park area, with reasonably priced tasty dishes.
I recommend the escargot- which is really garlic heavy, which i love; also got the beef carpaccio. They have a little bakery section as well, so be sure to try their bread pudding. Their half chicken dinner and fries is a really hearty and delicious option also!

When in need of a Tamil food fix…check out Paru’s.
Thali comes with rice, poori, curries- I got the yellow split dal & chickpeas, sambar, rasam, papad, yoghurt, pickle, halva dessert.
Only downside is that there are no meat dishes, but it’s pretty good for veg.
